Using webcam in chat room
Chat application at our site is provided by Xat.com. Webcam use in the chat room is only available to registered members of Xat.com. Being a registered member at Naijatalk.com doesn't automatically make you a registered Xat.com member. Follow the steps below to use webcam in the chat room.
- Click on your username in the users list to the right of the chat room
- Click on the register button
- Fill in the registration form at xat.com then check your e-mail and click the link there to complete your registration
- Refresh your browser after completing the registration. You will see a black star on your username icon in the chat room.
- Star a private chat with whoever you want to chat with via webcam (webcam is only available in private chat)
- Click on games on the left bar tab them click on webcam
- Allow the site to access your webcam by clicking the allow button
- Click the blue camera icon to send/receive webcam chat invitation. Green telephone button is only for voice chat while blue camera icon is for video and voice chat
